Nijo’s love story is not anything less than a movie, the best part is that it truely came about. Nijo met Gurpreet, as colleagues. Very soon they have become close buddies together. With the passing years, both Nijo and Gurpreet grew closer and finally have become a couple.
But the issue starts when they tell about their relationship with their families because ‘Nijo Jonson’ as the name suggests, becomes born to a Christian own family whereas ‘Gurpreet Kaur’ was born into a Sikh family. The fundamental trouble that came up turned into that they each belonged to different religions and cultural groups.
Each family did now not take it properly, specifically Gurpreet’s mother and father as she turned forced to end her job and go back to Punjab. meanwhile, Nijo too had to go away from his nicely-paying job because he discovered the filmmaker in him and wanted to give this dream of his, a shot.
