Amazon India on Thursday launched a $250 million task fund on the way to put money into startups and entrepreneurs centered on technology improvements in agriculture, healthcare, and digitizing small and medium companies (SMBs).
“The undertaking fund will independently spend money on startups, building solutions to empower SMBs to release, manage, and grow their commercial enterprise online, automate and digitize their operations, and extend their business globally through exporting to customers globally. those investments will help seed and scale-up innovation inside the quarter,” the e-trade large said.
The fund will also be investing in healthcare and Agri startups. Its ambitions to put money into groups that are making agri-inputs greater on hand to farmers, supplying solutions to enhance productivity, distribute credit and coverage, or are constructing efficient farm-to-fork delivery chains to lessen food wastage.
